I got a few Stag recievers from eaglefirearms.net , I have been very pleased, they are nicer than my Bushy or Colt. I bought them at $79 each, with sequential serial #'s.

I own several stag arms lowers. I love them more than any other lower i own (RRA, Bushie, Mega). Stag Arms has the best fit and finish I have ever seen! I am very pleased with them and would reccomend these lowers to anyone!

Q: Anyone bought any Lars/Grizzly receivers from JoeKen lately? They were selling 3+ for $69.95 in Shotgun News last month. I've got an e-mail into them and a post on another forum to them, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Agreed.  Joeken has a very bad reputation and a very bad attitude.  Stay away, far away.  

As far as the question about receivers goes, Mega/Stinger. Stag Arms, nd Ameetec all have good reputations for quality around here.  Ameetec also sells VM Hytech and Grizzly loweres and i have not heard negative comments on these lowers either.

Essential Arms is back in business... I have three cast pre-ban lowers that I will see if I can get remade as forged lowers for a fee... would easily be worth $100 to me to have forged over cast... In NY we are stuck with pre-94 receivers for evil features.
