I finally zeroed my 16.1" preban oly barrel with it's flattop upper and carry handle.  What front site post replacement do I get?  Is there any better than just a standard that I should consider (tapered)?  I really think it would be nice if the FSP had more of a tip on it.  Also, my sights are A1, can I get an A2 sight post?

thanks,

joe

Most people replace the A2 with an A1 because the round A1 tapers a bit more than the A2.

If you zeroed in in already, then why change everything now?

You may want to check with Tricon and install nightsights.

I don't want trijicons (except for an ACOG:).  I've already sighted it in but the post is sticking up out of it's little hole what looks to be too much.  from what i can see/imagine, the post consists of 0.1" or so, the wider ring with the adjustment holes, and then the post.  the base with the holes in it is no longer flush with the surface of the hole.  it seems like maybe if i tried to bring it up any higher, that i would unscrew it and it would go flying!

i'm still interested in a thinner front sight post.  should i check out bushmaster, or is there another make that might also incorporate some other new benefits besides just being thinner and tall enough?

Bushmaster sells a higher/longer FSP or contact Dennys Guns in the EE. He sells a modified FSP that is reduced @ the tip. I like mine, YMMV. -Justin

I went with the .034 match front sight from denny's guns. Here's the link in the EE.

Hi,

Consider getting a set:

Front sight pack from Brownells

Just picked up mine, real nice selection to go through to find what you like.

Cheers,
