[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Carry Handle Marking

Can any identify the marking on the detachable carry handle just foward of the sight on the right side of the handle. I can't post a pic but it looks like a side view of short fat AR pistol grip facing towards the sight.

If so.... I believe it is a Cardinal Forge handle that was assembled and sold by Bushmaster...

I have one just like it

I can't see the pic but the one I have is suppose to be a Bushmaster. It does look like a cardinal bird stamp now that you mention it.

Could you email pics to [email protected] if it's not to much trouble.

It's the Cardinal Forge marking, but there will be no way to determine who machined and finished the part (unless you bought it directly from a given manufacturer), because they all (except Armalite) source raw forgings from the same aluminum forging companies.
