I have been looking at some different type of stainless barrels for my next built.
I have been looking at the RRA and SPR options (ADCO),
I think RRA advertises their stainless barrels as having a Wylde Chamber? Is that ALL RRA stainless barrels or just certain orders? Will this make a real difference?
Also looking at the SPR barrel option - is it just a high end 18" HBar or is is turned down to make it lighter?
Anyone who has this barrel . . . if it is lighter - do you notice??
thank you in advance

Well...all depends on what you want to use it for I suppose. The SPR barrels are a noticeable bit lighter than an HBAR. The last batch of SPR barrels I got from White Oak have CLE match chambers. The RRA will have a Wylde chamber. The top barrel is the White Oak SPR

A PROPERLY CONTOURED SPR BARREL WEIGHS 38 OUNCES. AN HBAR OR SERVICE RIFLE MATCH BARREL WEIGHS 54 OUNCES, A SOLID POUND MORE.
GIVEN THAT THIS WEIGHT IS ALL FORWARD, THE HBAR BARREL MAKES THE WEAPON MUCH HEAVIER AND SLOWER.
