can you mount an m203 on an m4 barrel with a regular m4 handguard?

can someone post a pic. All the m203s I've seen are attached to the ugliest looking handguard I've ever seen

KAC RAS is not an ugly handguard in my opinion.  Nearly every M4/M203 I have seen was attached to an M4 with M4 RAS.

If you are talking about a 37mm flare launcher, don't do it, they are one of the ugliest things you can do to an M4.

The only good 37mm launcher is the one made by Mr. 40mm (a M203 with a sleeved barrel) but it is about $2100, a little high by most standards.

He's talking about the 203 handguard for the M16 rifle.
There is no handguard for the M4, you just take off the lower HG.
Now some of the 4 rail forends have a removable bottom rail so you can mount them over a 203, or if the 203 has the QD mounts you can hook it right to the rail.
