| I have a post ban lower. The A2 stock is too long. I am considering an ACE AR FXE. I want something a bit shorter than an A1 stock, but longer than the RRA stuby stock. Any comments about the Ace stock would be appreciated. Any trick to the installation?? |

I have one mounted on my SHTF gun. I love it! The shoulder pad is nice and soft, though for the short eye relief scopes you have to be careful or you will get scope eye. This means you must have a good shoulder position. With the TA-31 you can do punch out, but you have to be mindful to be directly behind the scope due to the eye relief. The stock feels very sturdy FWIW. The rubber pad is extremely sticky, but works fine since the stock is short and you don't have to slide past clothing. Installation is a breeze. Everything is very straight forward. Just make sure you have the foam in place before you tighten everything down. Kinda embarassing when you have to take it apart to do the foam. YMMV. |
