Unfortunately no, Meant to go out every day this weekend, the weather was beautiful but wierd things kept happening to prevent it. The coup de grace was when my car broke down on the turnpike on the way to the range. It's like I'm not meant to shoot it. Today the weather has gone south in a big way...sleet here and freezing rain. Maybe I'll brave the weather this afternoon and shoot it anyway. |

The JP is a single stage trigger. I had a bushie 2-stage, but didn't like all the little adjustment screws that could come loose in it. My shooting training was mostly competitive stuff out at Camp Perry, so I'm accustomed to a lighter trigger pull. Why do you prefer the factory trigger urban? |

Ok, here's the range report on it. I didn't have a lot of time yesterday, but if I didn't get to the range with this thing I was going to have a nervous breakdown from the anticipation. So I bundled up (not adequately enough) and headed out. Distance: 100 yds Light: diffuse late afternoon, bluish Temperature: low 30's Wind: from the East, gusty 5-20 mph Ammo: Black hills blue box 68 gr heavy match HP Position: Prone supported After sighting in, fired five rounds center of mass on a silhouette, the center of which is here: Yeah, yeah...I know...there's a "9" in there... What can I say, the chrome-lined barrel isn't broken in yet [rolleyes] As cold as it was, and as fast as I cranked those rounds off...I think I'm more than satisfied with its performance. Once the barrel gets broken in and I have a day when I can take my time, I can't wait to try it out at longer ranges. |
