How can you tell if a A3 receiver is a B.M.? My A2 has a funny "A" looking thing. TIA

If it does not have the dry lube inside its not a Bushmaster but even if it does that does not mean it IS Bushmaster. The only sure fire way to tell is if you order it direct yourself.

Bingo. Because upper receivers aren't marked by the manufacturer (the forge die marking is irrelevant), the above statement is correct.
