I would like to make an M4 stock fixed. I always open it to the third position anyways. Any ideas on how to permanently fix the stock? Thanks. |

BATF has yet to approve any design where the stock in question began as a functional collaspable stock. All of the approved designs use custom receiver extensions, for example. If you're going to try this, you might as well go ahead and install a normal, unmodified collapsable stock. You're taking exactly the same chance, legally, so you might as well benefit fully from the design. It will be legal in less than a year anyway. Otherwise, buy a Sully fixed stock, and add a spacer as needed. -Troy |
