JARHEAD. I have'nt ran across much on the TUBB rifle. Zediker.com, McMillan Bros. and an article in Small Arms Review. The rifle looks to be a shooter, and according to SAR it is. Really the price is fair for a rig like this compared to other rifles in this class. The ability for the owner to swap out barrels is also a big plus. The ability to use detachable mags helps if a person would like to use different types of ammo. You might want to post some questions in High Power. Competition Shooting forum. There are probably some High Power, Precission Shooters discussion boards on the net somewhere that would have some info. good luck.

THERE'S ONLY ONE PLACE TO BUY ONE, MCMILLAN BROTHERS RIFLE COMPANY. DELIVERY IS APPROX 6 MONTHS AT PRESENT.

AFTER A LENGTHY CHAT AT THE RECENT SHOT SHOW WITH THE RIFLE'S DESIGNER, DAVID TUBB, I ORDERED THE TUBB 2000T ["T" FOR "TANNERITE"! OR IS IT "TACTICAL"?] IN .308. IT IS ACTUALLY LESS EXPENSIVE THAN THE SAME CALIBER DONE UP BY MCBROS ON A REMINGTON 700 ACTION. THE F.B.I. IS ORDERING SOME, AS WELL.

IS IT PERFECT? NOPE. BUT NO MORE WORRYING ABOUT A RIFLE'S BEDDING HOLDING UP. PLUS, IT'S GOT THE BEST TRIGGER IN THE WORLD. ACCURACY? IT WILL OUTSHOOT ME. AND IT DOESN'T WEIGH AS MUCH AS MY M40A3.

MINE WILL HAVE THE NEW "CHUBBY TUBBY" MILSTD 1913 RAILS ON THE FOREND, AS SPEC'D BY THE F.B.I. SO YOU CAN MOUNT YOUR 'COON LIGHT TO IT! OR NIGHT VISION.

PLUS, THE TUBB 2000 USES THE SAME SIERRA PRECISION "SPR" GRIP I USE ON MY M4, AR-15'S,  AND SR-25.
