The Colts are rare and generally run $350 - $400. They are take offs from large pin R6700 Sporter Competition rifles. They have no markings though some may have proof marks in front past the dust cover. As for the Daniel Defense uppers, they are Les Baer Custom flattop uppers that they (Daniel Defense) enlarged the front pivot hole on. As the fine print says "hand fitting may be necessary". In other words, some hand filing may be necessary to fit the pivot pin. |

I currently have the adapter pin for my Bushy upper on my SP1. I am going to start building a new AR and thought I would begin with rebuilding by Bushmaster upper for my SP1 with a large pin upper, and then use the small pin upper as the start of my new one. I have to have my current Bushmaster upper on the SP1 lower because it is all pre-ban. |
