Hi,

I found a used Knights M4 RIS at my local gun show and it didn't have the manual.  I figured how to install the top and bottom rails but I'm a little confused on the panels.  I used the two 11-ribs on the sides but I'm having trouble with the bottom panels and the forward grip.  I have a 4-rib and a 2-rib and the forward grip and I was wondering if the forward grip is suppose to be "in" the rail slot or "on" the rail slot.  If I screw the forward grip "in" between the slots the panels don't fit.  If I screw the forward grip "on" the rail it works but it just seems like between the rails would be more secure.  What is the proper procedure here?

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

FYI, can't wait to get to the range and test it!

Thanks,

Bill

The pin on the forward grip goes in the slots. With a 4 rib and a 2 rib(thats what I`m using also), I trimmed the 4 rib just a hair for the combo to work.
