Looking at getting a new upper for varmint hunting. I was looking at the bushy varminter exclusvely until I saw the fulton armory predetor II varmint upper. I like the look, and the versatility of the full top rail. My only concern is how would the fit and finish be on my bushy lower? all input is appreciated! Thanks! |

I've got a Pred upper, a pretty good deal when I picked it up but the price has gone up a bit since then. Very nice rifle, excellent components, but not what I'd call custom smithed. Mine had a slight problem with the bolt assembly but was made right in a jiffy by Fulton. Still haven't done much with mine except run the Krieger recommended break in on the barrel. Used SA surplus for the process and did a thumbnail zero on the scope. Got a sub-inch group at 100 yds. We'll see how it stands to real loads after the thaw [:D]. |

I bought an M4gery from Fulton about a year ago. Fit and finish were excellent and it fit perfectly on my Bushy lower, although it took a lot of windage adjustment to get it zeroed. I sent it back to have the front sight indexed for my Bushy carrying handle and they did that for free. Now it only takes one or two clicks left or right windage to zero the irons, depending on what ammo or reload I am using. They do cut their chambers to match specs and discourage using reloads, but mine functions well with any factory or surplus (XM193, IMI or SA) load I have tried. |
