I have a friend that has an Essential Arms lower receiver on his rifle and has had no problems with it. It seems to be a very good lower.

The only thing "wrong" with Essential Arms is their lower receivers are cast. But they're cast by Ruger (lots of cast parts in Ruger firearms) and I've yet to hear of any failures of these receivers. Fit and finish is milspec other than the unique J15 fence around the magazine release.
I have two of them and would get a third for the right price. Color on most is M16 grey if color match is important. -- Chuck |
