Hey it's better than talking about baffle erosion for 47 pages.

Kinda hard to keep it between the lines when there is zero info on any of these clones. The OG seal recce is about the only one we even know who makes the barrel.

Someone should try and talk with the guy that started lilja. I’ve been wondering that too. Or someone should just have Bill Daniel call them

Anybody else notice the Larue 12” substitute rail jumped $150 overnight? From $250 to $400. No other Larue products only the old rail style only cloners want nowadays..

Not exactly customer friendly move by Larue.

Did I call out devgru? That was in reference to get back to his NSW V2 that we discussed was a favorite for some of us one page back.

Context is difficult sometimes. God when will this stop.

You literally quoted his post. The 15.1 recce with Ops can and Knights rail is a devgru gun. It's never been used by any other unit and it was literally created by that unit lol.

Docters are not historically accurate for any devgru recce rifles.

If I missed the context, what exactly was it? It looked to me like you were suggesting putting a non devgru optic on a devgru rifle? I apologize I missed the context.

His post doesn't specifically mention devgru, either. He's getting his old stuff back (and some of his old stuff not included in this lot is a Wilcox Docter mount and optic) to build.... an upper he had prior. We informally voted on our favorite iteration.

One page back, posts #2, 4-7.

Sounds like you just want to put someone in their place today. Hope you get to feeling better.

Jpoint is correct. I had a docter on it. Which I thought was correct at the time but after more people started getting into this thread more information came with it.

Docter is wrong Jpoint is right.

I still wanna know what rings and mount were on this rifle.

It's a Jpoint for sure but what cap? It sits way too far forward to be the normal Wilcox cap we see on all the others. That one centers the MRD above the ring.

No idea what mount that is specifically, but if I remember correctly the Wilcox J Point top ring has a forward bias just like that.

Those are Badger Ordnance rings and Wilcox top cap. I had the part number saved at one point but misplaced it for the Jpoint mount.

Back in action. Ron turned me a custom collar so I got rid of a little gap. As long as it shoots well I'll keep the custom collar on. For those who have a 15.1 CLE this is 1/10" setback on the collar. 9 turns, I believe I was at 7 before with the standard collar.

After you get a few hundred rounds through it. Give some accuracy reports and velocity if you have a chance.

My CLE Douglas is running 2600fps suppressed with a 75gr load at max book load.

Will do.  I don’t reload and only have IMI 77 grain razor core, but I can get velocities on both barrels and report back.
