Getting ready to start building off a new Colt 6920 OEM-2.
Attached File 14.5 SOCOM barrel installed along with the KAC MRE rail. Still deciding what optic to go with. Oh and it's wearing my SBR'd lower until I can send it off to Adco to pin and weld with an NT4 flash hider and spacer (KAC can is pending). Attached File |

Assuming I get a Wilcox mount in the near future...what is the best place to get a Docter? Is the Docter Sight II the correct model?

First bout of handloaded 77s went downrange today (BA tube) propelled by RL-15.
Best I got was about 1.25" center to center. Not horrible, and I surely had far worse results from some of my mk262-esque factory loads, but wholly underwhelming. My WOA varminter did about the same with the same loads (did 10 of each charge weight, groups of 5 from each rifle). 8208 and Varget still to test. |

View Quote So next time I head to PA to my honey hole to get powder, I'll be snagging some (more) 8208, whatever shoots supers best in my blackout CFE BLK didn't do so hot today, but i still have H110 and lil gun to test), and a couple others. 2000MR, AR-comp, and 2520 are on the list. Maybe 1680 if the other two don't work well in testing. |

Any knowledge of whether the Smith Vortex style or birdcage style suppressor mounts were used or not?

Well an OPS Inc 12th model just dropped on the EE. $1750 + 400 in tax stamps and a boat load of money to buy the uppers and lowers before you can get to the can.....SMH....

Anyone have a legit pic of a Recce ITW with a normal ole waffle stock on it? I don't think I've ever seen one. And one other thing, all my years I've never been up close to a genuine SOPMOD. I'm not sure how that happened but nobody I know actually uses one. Do the bolsters on the side actually come off? Sometimes I feel like I see seem and other times I don't.
Such important questions for a Monday. I miss shooting my recce. |

Question regarding ejection pattern:
I’m running my Recce Upper on my only SBR’d lower that I share with my CQBR upper. I normally run a milspec spring and H2 buffer. With 77 and 62 gr I’ve noticed an unsuppressed ejection pattern around 2:30-3:00, and suppressed around 2:00. Do you guys think I should get a blue or red Sprinco spring and throw in it with the H2, or continue as is? |

Looks good on super skinny small sbrs but will look funny on a full railed handguard Recce. |

For me, and I say this know my dimensions aren't the same as most, the cheek weld isn't that different from a sopmod and the rifle over all feels more maneuverable when not shooting off a bipod or a bag. Now nothing will beat a sopmod for cheek weld, but the CTR isn't bad at all. On another note, I pulled these out of the old recce thread, it says they are from a MOH trailer but I cant find which one.
