For anyone that purchased or was interested in the AU full auto ambi safeties, it DOES NOT come with both the long and short lever like the description states.  Mine came with only long levers.

What about that set up leads you to believe that the owner may not know a whole lot?

It seems like a pretty solid set up to me, my only qualm would be the lack of lens protection on the optic.

Arms unlimited change the picture last week the full auto ambi selectors showed you getting a long and short lever now I look and it is confirmed you are getting two long levers instead of the traditional short and long

I purchased a new DSA stripped Upper Receiver from DSA about 2 years ago.  It was the Demco, Mueller Forge with dog bone.  It is installed on a Mutt Upper I built and works good.  I only paid around $60 for it.

To those of you that are hesitant to buy the auto selector because it's auto.

Using a full auto selector in a semi auto AR15:

If you have a semi auto trigger and semi auto disconnector and don't remove the nub from the auto selector, it will be safe semi safe.

If you have a full auto trigger and semi auto disconnector and don't remove the nub from the auto selector, it will be safe semi semi.

If you have a full auto trigger and full auto disconnector and don't remove the nub, it will be safe semi hammer follow. Depending on timing, this could result in multiple shots being fired. It's probably not a good idea to use this combo.

If you have any trigger and any disconnector and remove the nub from the auto selector, it will be safe semi semi.

If your AR15 doesn't have selector stops, the selector will be able to travel past safe while rotating counter clockwise and will be able to travel past auto when rotating clockwise.

Function check it after you install it. Make sure it goes from semi to safe with the bolt forward and locked to the rear.

What is the story here? Looks like a 10.3 urgi on a mil lower? Why is everything on that thing so weird? Between the 10.3 urgi, the MRO and the OSS can I'm confused how this came to be lol.

Never post my builds, so here’s one. Built to mimic a T&E gun as the mount is a T&E mount made from Alcoa (now Arconic) 2099 Al-Li alloy. Upper had Mk12 gas block swapped for a correct DD low profile block.

Someone likely swiped the credit card and bought at least 1 10.3" URG-I or 9.3" MK16.

Just FYI, for anyone considering ordering one of these, AU has updated these two product descriptions to say "With full sized levers" and "With full size levers on both sides," respectively. I can confirm that's how they both come. No short lever for the right side, if you're looking for that. Still good quality parts.

From the pictures I've seen here, it looks like both versions of the Colt 3-position selector (long and short right side lever) appear on issued guns. I think the armorers probably give the user the option, but maybe CD can confirm. I just know that a lot of people here prefer the short right side lever, so I wanted to mention it.

The pics on the first page were selected because of the upper receiver markings, not because of the selector. However, you can see that all but one are like this:

Not clone correct, but closest I have for parts to build upper is a 14.5 DD carbine barrel with pinned Geissele GB and Surefire 3 prong Warcomp with a Mk16 rail, Colt receiver, Colt BCG and DDC Geissele CH.
Were Geissele gas blocks and Surefire Warcomps ever used on issued rifles?

I feel as though I may finally be worthy of posting here. Really liking this current setup although I have yet to zero it. Previously it wore an EXPS3, Matech, Scout, and choco chip PEQ. Swapped out the Peq for an LA-5 and the EXPS for an SU-230A. I also decided to give the OKW a shot- goddamn does it throw light.

Anyway, without further ado, my Thoroughbred built URG-I. I may swap to a 4p now that they will be cheaper, and to be honest I like the Raptor so much that unless an ACH falls in my lap, i’ll keep it.

I hope it’s correct enough to post here! Let’s see if I can attach a picture correctly.

I was thinking the same thing. Had to have been making URG-I ACHs to have blems in the first place.

Are you guys gonna be haters when I get done and my rail and charging handle are blems?

My rail is one of the blems they had, and I just ordered the blem charging handle.

I'm already building on a PSA lower with M4 roll marks. I'm literally the worst.

Ha, no. I just don't personally want any blem marked parts. It doesn't bother me that they are blems really but I don't like the laser logo.

Speaking of ACH charging handles, are all of the subdued marked ones also NSN marked? I bought one recently assuming it was NSN marked, but it's not.

URGI got some use this last week in a LE SPR class up in Vegas. Ran flawlessly and only slowed down after about 600 rounds suppressed and got a quick BCG wipe down. I still like the modH style ace stock on it, little more solid and minimal.

I like it a lot, its the smallest and lightest I could get that still had good performance on the high end and true 1 power. Sometimes I wish I had more magnification but then I would need to get an offset red dot and never had issues running it with the 8 power to 700 yards.

So you are using it in a more spr/dmr sort of role? I've taken mine out to 500 and it works great. I'm just not sold on the 1x eyebox up close yet.
