I have a question for someone who actually has a Fostech Echo Trigger. I would like you to perform the following function check and let me know the results.
1 With the selector set to semi-auto, squeeze the trigger letting the hammer fall. 2. While continuing to squeeze the trigger pull the charging handle and BC to the rear and hold. 3. With the bolt fully to the rear, release the trigger and then squeeze the trigger again and hold. 4. with the trigger still squeeze release the charging handle letting the BC go forward. Did the hammer fall on return or was the disconnector still engaged requiring the trigger to be released again? I would very much like to know the answer to this before I buy one. |

Hammer falls the same with the factory echo carrier.
So that was in semi mode. ^ If the gun is in echo and you pull the trigger and while the bcg is all the way back you pull the trigger all the way back to activate echo and let off and pull the trigger you will have a hard stop the same as semi and once the bcg goes back into battery you get the same situation where the hammer falls when it goes into battery while u are pulling the trigger. If you have alot of mass in your bcg and buffer and a regular spring you may notice that sometimes you get some very fast triples from that situation in echo. I lightened my bcg and run a carbine buffer and sprinco red spring and don't get that situation any more. Perfect dubtaps forever. In all the situations you have pulled or released the trigger in order to cause the hammer to drop so it is still working under the principle of one shot per actuation of the trigger. |
