[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Barrett upper receiver value?

I have a Barrett marked upper receiver that I got in a trade and was wondering if it's worth anything special.

They had those on sale/clearance a couple years back for $50 ish.

Someone might pay more for the name on this side, otherwise it's just another stripped receiver.

I've sold quite a few new and used BCM marked stripped upper receivers for a significant premium, well over $100 used, and they sold quickly. I doubt there's a big demand for a Barrett marked upper, but you never know.

To a Barrett fanatic it could be worth more. But other than that its just a standard mil-spec upper. Same deal as the restricted marked Colt lowers

Thank's for the replies. I was planning to use it on a new build but wanted to make sure I didn't have some holy grail and didn't know it lol.

Last I checked Gunpartscorp had them for ~$50, IIRC.

It's just an LMT upper that's been laser engraved.

So are LMT uppers with Barrett laser engraved on them worth anything?

I'm going to use it on a new build since it's just a regular upper.
