[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Can - Help Needed

I just got a stamp in for a shiny new can, and I have some severe mounting and performance issues I could use your help with.
The can is from a company called Mir, I was attracted to its very good price and very light weight.
I definitely am running subsonic (10" 300 Blackout 230gr).
The can doesn't seem to decrease noise at all, in fact it appears to increase noise when fired.
My barrel is DEFINITELY threaded 1/2x28, not sure why the can appears to have mount repeatibility issues from shot to shot.
Any ideas for a fix?

The surface finish can have a lot to do with the sound signature. Try roughing up the surface or painting it flat black. Also there is something wrong with your upper.

That's not even mounted in the top pic and the front angle shot makes it look like a muffler.

How big is the opening in the end cap and what are the specs on it? Google turns up nothing on "Mir."
