Looking to see if anyone has used this kit, and if you feel it's worth the $25. Don't want a crush washer, have peel washers and other multiple use shim kits, but I really like the idea of only needing one, well made washer to mount my flash comp. Figure I can always resell the remaining kit.
Update 3/29/17: I ended up purchasing the accu washer kit for my 6920 barrel. Something to keep in mind if you buy this kit is that you may need to chamfer one inside edge of the sizing washer and final install washer so that it will sit flat against the barrel shoulder. My 6920 threads are not back cut, so there is a little radius preventing the washer from fitting flush. A little work on the inside edge of the washer with my Dremmel fixed that issue. Regards. |
| Excellent, I'm going to get it. Does anyone know of a reliable source that doesn't charge $7-$8 to ship this kit? I generally hate buying gun parts off of ebay in fear of getting a fake, but I did find an ebay seller offering this kit for $26 out the door. I figure that it may not be an easy or worthwhile item to fake with all those identifying hash marks milled into the side of each washer. Thanks all! |
