Being relatively new here, do the powers to be provide an explanation or cite a specific rule violation, etc when locking a thread?

Not that many locked in my opinion.... a better description ( IMHO ) would be "moved to the correct forum".

Some of the busiest forums require quite a bit of attention from the "Mods"... so if the "Locked" emoji seems to happen fast... it is usually because it is an "open and shut case".

I often wonder if the Mods get to enjoy the busy monitored forum they cover.
