Can anyone identify the rail covers Proctor is using in this video?: https://youtu.be/0NPbpNX406U?t=587
They're not DD, Strike Industries, Troy's, Brownells, magpul, tango down, or manticore... I can't figure it out. Thanks! |

Found one more that I need identifying! Where does the rail covers in this video (the rifle is in the background) come from?: https://youtu.be/28ztUwx4BlM?t=265 Thanks everyone for the suggestion of other rail covers. I will be looking into all of them! The poster of the video answered my question in case anyone else was curious: "They are KAC rib panels that have been modified....specifically they have been sanded down, and then stippled. I made a video showing how you can do this yourself:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8EdCWQif68" |

Actually, I'm not really sure about this (still new to it all).
If your rail doesn't have picatinny on all four sides, do you have to buy a picatinny rail piece to attach to your handguard before you can attach this: https://www.magpul.com/products/xt-rail-panel to the handguard? For some reason, since my handguard is MLOK, I just assumed Magpuls rail covers would attach straight on to the MLOK. |

Magpul has really awesome rail covers that attache directly to the MLok, no add-on rail needed. I bought a couple of sets of them for my rifle and love them, only wish they came in a rubberized texture. Thanks, specifically, do you know if these are? https://www.magpul.com/products/xt-rail-panel It seems like they're not, but it's not totally specific. |

If you go to that link, it's right there in the title. XTâ„¢ Rail Panel 1913 Picatinny So no, those will not work for MLOK handguards. You would need these or these to directly attach rail covers to your MLOK handguard (more people than Magpul make MLOK covers, FYI). |

Yeah... that's what I thought... Yeah I know that, it's just I really liked the way those one's looked. What it be real awkward to put picatinny rail attachments on the MLOKs and then put the picatinny rail covers on top of those? Do people do that? Would it look kind of bulging or excessively protruding? I'm assuming it wouldn't quite look like it would on fixed picatinny. |

It would most likely look like crap, feel bulky as hell, and be heavy as fuck. The whole point of a modular rail is to be slim, lightweight, and ergonomic. You'd literally eliminate all three by doing what you're suggesting. My advice? Look at some other companies MLOK covers. If you don't like any of those, just skip them altogether. They aren't really necessary. |

They look pretty nice too. |
