I currently have a 10.5" 2A Armament lite upper and their adjustable bolt carrier group with the JP silent capture buffer spring. I have an Omega suppressor mounted to it 95% of the time. It runs fine but I still get a decent amount of gas to the face and am sick of the action getting dirty quickly. I am considering adding an adjustable gas block in place of their titanium block. The ID of the 2A Rail is 1.3.

I'm looking at the Micro MOA Govnah, Surperlative Arms, or the SLR Sentry.

The Govnah seems like the easiest to adjust but it's only 1 or 2 settings. It's also the heaviest of the bunch. Will I be happy with 2 or 3 settings? How do I figure out what size gas port my barrel is and once I do what block/plate comb would I order? Will it fit in my rail? The Govnah Spec's call for a 1.365 ID rail but it appears the width of it would fit and the top of the block would fit in the squared top of my rail?

Superlative Arms calls for a 1.83 ID rail but again the width would fit and I'd think the height would also. Any feed back on these?

SLR Sentry titanium would be pretty light. Would I be able to adjust it based on the photo's posted below?

Looking for suggestions please!

Can't speak for the others listed.

But I have several of the SLR blocks and am very happy with them.

Adjusting it is a lot easier if you buy the extended tool they sell.

The SLR requires you to remove the suppressor and adjust from the front.  Its a bit more of a pain with multiple settings between suppressed and unsuppressed, if you shoot both a lot.

The Govnah is awesome, I have set these up on a couple weapons.  They work best when you can remove the handguard to do the initial setup, and the handguard tube will slip over the gas block with no need to remove the block.  I bring a small vise and drill bit set to the range, and we drill, test, remove, drill, test, repeat until it is just right.  The ones I set up are three holes, for suppressed, unsuppressed, and full gas.

If it will fit, I have no idea.

With the extended driver(tool) I never remove my suppressors to make adjustments

You are probably right - I was looking at how close his suppressor is to the rail, and how large the OD is on his suppressor - but I suppose it would be possible to still adjust via the uppermost opening in the rail on his.... since there is sufficient distance between the front of the rail on the gas block.

I've run SLR blocks and love them. Don't know if suppressor will be in way or not. They sell a long allen head "ball driver" that is about 8 inches long.

ETA looking at your picture I'm sure it will be no problem to adjust. Also even the clamp on SLR blocks are VERY slim should be no problem fitting that rail.

Good info on the SLR, still wonder if it would fit.

On the Govnah I'm not sure I would know when 'just right' is actually just right. But the slide adjustment is very appealing.

As of now this is mainly used with a suppressor but I'd like the option to use it without with an quick adjustment to the gas block.

Its not hard to get the Govnahs set correctly, just takes a little time but when its done its a very nice, consistant and easy way to adjust between settings. You basically start with a hole on the smaller side and load only one round in a mag and see if the bolt locks back on the empty mag. If not you just increase that hole size by one numbered drill bit until the bolt locks back. When you get to that point you open it up one more numbered drill bit size and your're done. I have three settings for my MK18. One for optimally suppressed, one for optimally unsuppressed, and one that matches the oversized hole in the barrel which I will probably never use but its nice to know I have that available.
