| I've been wanting a KAC SR 15 for a while and I think I want to sell/trade my like new PWS MK116 for it. Crazy talk? |
|
You may have to put up some cash. I know the PWS may cost more new, but I feel like they snag people when they first get into black rifles with the high price that seems unwarranted.
SR15 is pricey, but actually a great value if you understand the quality of the components. |

Their barrels are very accurate as well. I gladly paid more for their upper knowing there were equal or possibly better options at lower price. Its really hard for me to get excited over a DI upper these days. |

There are more updated features on the SR15 than most people know about. FULL ambi-lower. Not an afterthought, either. 2-stage trigger E3 bolt (rounded lugs for greater strength) Smaller cam pin hole in the bolt Dual extractor spring Intermediate length gas system (in between mid and rifle length) I still think that there isn't a documented case of the bolt breaking on a non-suppressed version. |
| I can't believe it. I found a member here with a KAC MOD 2 with 1500 rounds fired that is interested in trading for my PWS. My PWS has only 240 rounds fired so even though I would prefer a KAC with similar use, I can live with the different round counts. The KAC has been cerakoted coyote which I'm not crazy about. Should I jump on this trade even though it isn't exactly what I was looking for (coyote)? If so should I expect to pay some cash in the deal (how much)? |

Considering round count and original purchase price I think an even trade is fare. You don't really want the cerakote so use that to your advantage. |
| KAC ....with match ammo 1moa at its best. my PWS 0.59 . ANO was perfect on My PWS on my KAC it was two different colors and rough and dry chalky looking. My PWS run so clean I rarely clean it and has four different gas setting which works with my can. When I had my KAC I had to use a different buffer and spring. Case Closed PWS ! |
