Could you elaborate on the "adjustable bolt housing with a switch"? I hardly know all there is to know about all the options for gas control on an AR, so I'm just curious. I have adjustable gas blocks and even a couple of adjustable gas keys. I'd like to know more about your setup. I'm guessing something like a Gemtech or such? Is this really just a fancy name for something like an adjustable gas key that one can install on most BCG's? Edit: I see you just posted that it's a Gemtech. Is the "switch" controlling the gas key or what? |

Tag, how the heck does a short barrel increase bcg speed? higher port pressure due to short barrel(about 10k psi), = earlier/faster unlocking, with higher chamber pressure plus the gas ports are usually oversized to deal with the wide range of pressure curves |

Thanks! we don't get to play with sub 16" rifles |
