What? Its the ugliest of my builds. I started out wanting to build an a2, ended up buying a beat up a2 upper that no one else wanted off of ee for cheap money. Mixed in some a1 parts, and in the end decided not to refinish the receivers because I liked the beat up look. The rest of my builds are the typical not a scratch on them, with the best parts I could afford. |

Must be purchased off Amazon. 16"+ barrel with no longer than a carbine gas system. Rail must be purchased off Amazon and ideally will be a brand nobody has heard of. Skeletonized parts EVERYWHERE. BUIS must be used with the optic, but no QD mount is allowed. BUIS must be under $50 for the pair. You don't necessarily have to be able to see them through the optic. Spikes Jack lower is a good idea. If not, then you need a magwell grip. Stock with the ability to accept an extra 10rd mag for storage is a good option. VFG + bipod is also a good idea. VFG must be skeletonized and cost more than $30. Bipod can only be bought at Walmart. Go on AR Builders or AR-15 Gun Owners of America facebook groups and peruse them for ideas. Literally every build on there is hideous. |

Take the stock off, wrap the buffer tube in paracord, stick a VFG on there, take all irons/optics off, and post a pic telling people it's your first AR Pistol build and how excited you are about shooting it. Or just ask them for pics of their builds; I guarantee you'll get plenty of ideas for this endeavor. You'll also most likely drink yourself into a coma. ETA: I also realize that this is quickly turning into a GD discussion.

Railed gas block, or chopped off FSB on a delta ring setup
Scope mounted on a detachable carry handle Scope mounted directly to flat top upper with rings, sitting far enough back that rifle must be shot with stock fully extended and head craned back Chinese gun show special scope, preferably high powered with red and green illumination... bonus points if it has a little flashlight and/or laser mounted on it Alternatively, Chinese holo sight with multiple reticles If irons only, folding rear sight mounted in the middle of the flat top upper rail, possibly on backwards UTG quad rail handguard covered with their big fat rail covers If free floated, handguard with slant cut end for shorter sight radius and less upper rail space Tapco SAW, Stark, or Mako grip Shitty plastic mag like Promag, Thermold, or Orlite Stock that holds a mag, or carbine stocks that have a little adjustable cheek riser Ridiculous spiked muzzle brake, or Barrett .50 style V shaped brake Hydro dipping -- bonus points for skull pattern |
