Trying to figure out which combination to go with. I ordered the JP red hammer and yellow trigger spring kit. I have a PSE lower with milspec trigger and was thinking of putting just the yellow trigger spring in.

I also have another MP ar  with the RR two stage and was wondering if I should put the red hammer spring in that one or if it would make any difference in feel.

The PSE rifle is more of just a tactical training rifle/plinker and the MP is more of a glassed SPR for punching paper for groups.

Thoughts?

I put the yellow/red combo in a rifle and it was pretty sweet.  Personally, I choose the red hammer to guarantee reliability with harder primers.  If you're only shooting 223 ammo like Remington I doubt you'll need it.

I would like to insure it will fire with any type of ammo so maybe I should just use the GI hammer spring and yellow trigger.

I guess the red spring will just be a spare part and will not be used in either rifle.

Take all the parts to the range with you.  See what works.  Swapping hammer springs is easy-peasy.

I like your thinking.  Would swapping just the hammer spring from the stock spring to the red spring make any kind of difference  in trigger feel?

I use the yellow red combo on a milspec fcg that was ridiculously heavy with the springs it came with but shoots really nice now. No issues with light primer strikes, even with CCI #41 primers. Cheap trigger upgrade that I would highly recommend.

It'll do something. Whether you can "feel" it or not, I don't know.  But like I said, that Yellow spring set in my AR45 has yielded a very nice trigger with stock FCG parts.  The GI hammer spring / Yellow trigger spring combo in my other rifle is not as nice but it's better than it was... .  Put the Red hammer spring in and report back.  Maybe I need to go that route myself.

ETA: JP Industries is a really awesome company.  They provide some really economical solutions to problems like these.  Their "anti-walk" pins are a great, cheap alternative to expensive "anti-rotation" pins and their FCG set-ups are fantastic.  The adjustable ones rival tuned 1911 triggers.

Thanks for the info. Like ar45 said, I will bring all the springs to the range and see what combo feels best.
