I am considering this CH for my suppressed SBR 300blk build. Anyone here using this CH in your suppressed rifle? If so, is it effective?

Yes very effective for me, I was quite surprised. I haven't used it on a shorty or 300blk upper but my 16" 5.56 upper was tamed.

I have one for an unsuppressed build I'm selling. Bout 60 Rds through it.

I mean, it works because it redirects the gas and is more squared, however I'm. Lefty so it blows slightly more in my face from ejection.

Does it redirect the gas out a port on the side of the CH like the griffin SNACH? If so I'm very interested in this one too

Apparently not a big seller.

Also a pretty new item which hasn't seen much PR time.  Everyone loves the Raptor, so it gets most of the attention. I know a couple legit guys who are using them who have given positive feedback.  I have no suppressed time on one myself.

I have one, it works surprisingly well.

I'm running a Surefire SOCOM 556 RC2 so there isn't a lot of backpressure to begin with. However I can tell a difference between the freedom bone and a gunfighter. I can smell the difference more than anything.

I wonder how it compares to the Griffin Armament Snatch.

When you look at the upper receiver, and how the FB locks in places, the concept certainly makes sense.  The relief cuts should aid in reliability in the same way as the old FAL sand cuts.

How does it work on unsupressed rifles?

I still cant get over the price of charging handles now adays.  its a CHARGING handle.  all it does is pull a bolt back.

Sounds like you are more than happy with the basic model CH.

I shot the Freedom Bone next to the Gunfighter again as well as a standard CH.

The Freedom Bone was easily the best in reducing gas to face. The Gunfighter did a decent job, although I could still smell the powder/primer, more so than the freedom bone. The standard CH was miserable. I was wearing eye protection, but it still bothered my eyes after only shooting 5 rounds.

I would like the compare the freedom bone to the gasbuster some time.

I went back and forth last month and ended up purchasing the Geissele Super Charging Handle.

I think I'll end up getting a Freedom Bone for my next build.

Need to take a basic economics class.  Price isn't determined by function but by demand.
