So I've got a Silencerco Omega 30 in stamp jail currently with an 5/8x24 ASR muzzle mount for my AR10.  I'm also building an AR15 and will be getting a BO at some point as well and would be needing a muzzle device.  Should I just get another Trifecta muzzle with a 1/2x28 thread or should I get a VG6 CAGE which is a better muzzle given reduced recoil and lower concussion.  If the latter, how will I be using the Omega on the 556?  Will I still need another Trifecta just to mount it?

Uhh... Isn't it pretty clear that in order to mount you suppressor, you need a compatible muzzle device made for your suppressor? Unless you can direct thread, in which case you'd still have to remove your muzzle device.

If you're going to mount that Omega to a barrel, you either need to direct thread it with the appropriately threaded direct thread mount, which means the host barrel will have to have bare threads to accept the Omega. Or, rather than installing the direct thread mount on the Omega, you can install the ASR mount on the Omega, which enables the Omega to mount on the various ASR muzzle devices, which you install on your various host barrels. In this case, you would then be able to mount the Omega to an ASR muzzle brake or ASR flash hider, both of which can be had in 1/2x28 (5.56) or 5/8x24 (7.62) threads.

It sounds like you want to use muzzle devices on your host weapons, so you should buy appropriately threaded ASR muzzle devices for the weapons upon which you want to be able to mount the Omega.
