What's a good LPK w/Trigger for a budget build? I can drop in a high end trigger group later.

Aero has one of the nicest mill spec triggers I have ever used.

The BCM LPK for $99 is very nice.  It's come with a BCM grip, BCM polymer trigger guard, a trigger that is nearly identical in feel to a ALGACT trigger and all the other music parts.

PSA has a basic LPK for $60 that comes with a MAgpul grip.

Good quality and fast shipping. I believe the first post misunderstood about not needing a FCG.

I like the WOA kits if you plan on using an aftermarket trigger.

The real answer is Stag. The others mentioned are low budget LPKs and that's their only claim to fame.

I misunderstood?  What part of below didn't you understand?  Typing "w/" means with.  Maybe the OP forgot to add the out behind w/.

CMMG or Spikes.  Nod to CMMG for the best stock triggers.

The Stag/CMT is nicest I've used.  CMT (Continental Machine Tool) is a mil contractor.

ALG is the best "mil spec" trigger made IMO.

It's on sale today for $62 shipped!  Comes with Magpul grip, Magpul polymer trigger guard, PSA enhanced trigger (feels just like a ALG ACT trigger) and all the other misc LPK parts.

If I couldn't find a colt, lmt or fn lpk I'd get a daniel defense or alg lpk.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it's all just personal preference.

And I did mean with trigger. I'm doing a budget build, but I'm not going the cheapest route. I have an Anderson lower, and I ordered my upper assembly with 15" Hera Keymod rail. I'm going with a Minimalist stock, and I will probably so a nickel boron BCG.

Being a mil contractor doesn't mean shit.  What is sold to the public is different than what the military contract (hence contractor) calls for.

That being said... I hear great things about Stag/CMT kits.

Ive used several of these LPK's now.  Nice parts, really smooth trigger too.

The future high quality trigger isn't necessary IMO if you start with a quality lpk unless you're competing. Spend $100 on a BCM or an ALG lpk and call it quits. I have a PSA lpk in a Noveske, a factory Armalite with an adjustable match trigger, factory LMT with a single stage trigger and the ALG lpk with QMS trigger has been the best feeling trigger to me. The Armalite trigger costs about $150 alone.

I have been eyeballing Wilson Combat lately. Seem to be going for a decent price.

I am also of the mind that most parts kits are only different in packaging only.
