I bought a yet to be delivered Colt OEM1 last weekend. For now, I'm gonna keep it in a KISS config.
So I bought a Colt Carry Handle, off GunJoker.com. The carry handle pic in the auction showed a square forge mark. After looking around the interwebz, I believe that new 6920's are carrying this forge mark on their carry handle. I received the carry handle today, and naturally the handle didn't match the one in the auction's pic.The one I received has a MMA forge mark. After searching for info about Colt forge marks, I believe it's an early model carry handle. Colt has used a shit ton of different forging suppliers over the years, and it seems all but impossible to determine whats authentic Colt, and whats not. Does anybody in the know, have any info about MMA forge markings?

They were supposedly produced in a very limited number. |
