Where does this brand rank? They seem to produce some really nice looking and high quality products but are not mentioned with names like Novekse, BCM, Daniel Defense. Just wondering how they compare to the top brands.

| Top shelf stuff, I think the reason they don't rank with the other guys is because they don't build a complete rifle yet. I have 5 Mega receivers so far and love them. The only thing they're not making is a BCG, I think once they make that they'll have all the components for a complete rifle. |

Have a couple Gators, an ambi billet set too (GTR-3H like the SBR above except with right side bolt release). I think their stuff is top notch. All made in-house in the U.S. with excellent QC.
I'm not a big billet guy. I bought the set simply b/c of how it looked. Clean angular lines, excellent machining and extremely tight tolerances. |

Mega is in WA state, they do Aero uppers and lowers, as well as several other suppliers. I have only run into one issue with their lowers (not accepting PMags), and they cheerfully swapped it out for another. That was nearly 10 years ago, IIRC.
Other than that, zero issues.

[qOP, Mega Arms makes the nicest upper/lower receiver combo in the business. Their GTR-3H Ambi lower is my favorite of any in the AR world. The wifey bought me this lower and matching upper for my birthday last year. I finished it with an ALG trigger, Spikes lower build kit, Windham/Green Mountain 14.5" barrel assembly, and a AimSurplus NB bolt carrier group...
