I searched the internet for any reviews, but I didn't see any reviews which leads me to believe this is a bad idea, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Since I live in a tree hugging state I'm forced to search for the best and fastest way to exchange mags and still stay compliant. It looks like a good idea to stay compliant, and if using the left side option with a magazine bullet button tool attached you can at least still perform a tactical reload.

I don't think it's a bad idea, but I clicked on this thread to find out what the heck a UBML was.  Maybe change the title to get more people to read it?

Anyway, keeping in mind that "The State of California" doesn't want you doing tactical reloads, that gadget seems to make it a lot easier than the typical bullet button, especially for righties...
