Looks good, what does it weigh? With the Sparc on it now, maybe 7 lbs. at the most. Did a quick zero at 25 yards at a friends house. Only issue was operator error (I was too busy yakking and loaded a spent cartridge in the mag The front sight post is a bit to the left more than my past PSA uppers (I've 2 others and used 3 for builds for friends the past couple years). Nothing not "milspec" but we did have to dial the Magpul rear sight 1 full "notch" over. Nothing I'll worry about long term. If or when mount a scope on it that'll cover the rear sight. I'm going to tweak it out to 50 yards on the irons and 100 yards on the Sparc next weekend if I can get to my normal range. |

I have a PSA 14.7CHF barrel that I really love. It shoots almost 1MOA with Black Hills 75gr and Prvi Partisan 69gr OTM's. However, it took a tad of tweaking to get it about as perfect as possible. The FSB was canted to the left as well. I notched the upper receiver index pin slot slightly to the right and put a small shim, (square piece of aluminum from a Ginger Ale can), in so the barrel wouldn't rotate out of it's intended slot while torquing the barrel nut. Afterwards, I took a long angle iron ruler and centered it on the upper picatinny rail and it went strait down the middle of the front site post. This was now a perfectly aligned FSB as far as I can tell. Total time involved took about 20 minutes. Hell, even the M4 chamber cuts on the barrel extension lined up better than before to almost perfectly match the lower receiver cuts. It wasn't hard to do either; and it fixed something that was likely to bother the shit out of me. It's now become our go to back up Middie. |

I might try and have the FSB straighten out, shop near me builds AR's, if I can get t fixed quick and cheap. Beats trying to send it back for something I know is close to spec. I actually have a BCM upper that has the same cant opposite direction and I didn't mess with it. |
