| Have a upper assembly with a A1 upper 20 inch 1 in 9 barrel with no bayonet lug. Does any one know what model it is? I would like to mate it up with the correct lower. Barrel in marked Colt Hbar 1-9 Upper has c m marked. Thanks. |

It could be an older Bushmaster or DPMS upper assembly, maybe even an Olympic. It is hard to say without seeing pictures to see what markings are on the upper and the barrel. |

Also, the 20" HBAR 1/9 barrel does not fall into a Colt model with an A1 upper. |

Just my own opinion is that your upper someone put together, not a factory upper because I had a Colt model R6000 AR-15A2 Sporter HBAR (I believe the first HBAR model) I bought new when they first were released in 1986, it had already an A2 upper receiver also a 1/7 twist barrel and bayo lug.
I had never seen the factory made a HBAR with an A1 upper receiver, when they used the 1/9 twist HBAR with no bayo lug they used it on a flattop upper receiver which is the model 6700 in 1992. If you wanted to correct your upper using your HBAR barrel, get a flattop upper receiver without M4 feedramps, install your barrel and you could get a model 6700 marked "Sporter Competition HBAR". Another option using your A1 upper is get a different barrel either a SP1 lightweight government profile barrel 1/12 twist and use a SP1 lower model R6000, or an A2 gov't profile barrel 1/7 and use an AR-15A2 Sporter II (models R6400, R6401 & R6500) lower receiver. |

Front take down pin is a large one. Thanks for the replies. So you're going to need this to mount it to any non large hole Colt lower http://www.cdnnsports.com/ar15-offset-pivot-pin-adapter-bushing-dpms.html |
