I have a 7.5in SBR and when I grip it up in the most comfortable position there is a gap between the bottom of my hand and the bottom of the NSR.. so it had me looking for something to fill that gap..

I am considering getting an Odinworks B1 and cutting out the ridge in the middle like this..

http://www.acmfs.com/photos/firearms/sbr/odin.jpg

that picture is really EXACTLY what I am looking for..

but was also curious if anyone has any pictures of the magpul M Lok AFG mounted to keymod..

thanks

I like the K20 a lot and considered it.. but unfortunately it won't work because of where the angle peeks and how short the hand guard is..

Ergo makes one.

BCM makes one, I believe it's called the KAG.

Edit: looking at it, its more of a handstop I suppose.

I looked at the fortis.. but that hook at the bottom.. not so sure about that..

I looked and looked and looked for something like the grip I photoshopped up.. and found nothing that was really like that.. I really don't want to cut up a $50 grip.. lol but am not against it if they can confirm that it would work... still waiting on a reply from them.

OK well the odinworks unit was really nice.. but still not what I am after...

saw it and considered it.. but after shouldering the gun about a thousand times I think the issue is I actually want the grip to rest as far to the back of the rail as possible.. if I directly mount it to the NSR I THINK I might be able to get it back a little further..

not sure if this will work for you but since no one has mentioned it yet, B5 Systems has a handstop that can be put on in an AFG-type configuration

appreciate all the suggestions!

the problem with the B5 and similar is that they curve in.. I am looking for something shaped more like an AFG which is why I thought the Odin would be good to go..

but I found yet another product I think I am going to try..

Why not order the Keymod hardware and modify the AFG to fit Keymod.  Awhile back a member posted a how to but my google-fu skills cannot find it.

that is definitely a last resort.. and what I plan to do if I need to.. only I think I will use the M lok one because I am pretty sure the spacing is very close..  the new one I am looking at is already setup for keymod so may actually work out..

the more I look at the specs.. the more I think keymod and mlok at pretty close.. I THINK I am going to be able to take the magpul mlok AFG.. shave down the rear recoil lug flat.. replace the two mlok bolt with key mod bold.. reshape the center mlok recoil lug to fit in the keymod slot.. and have a flush fitting mlok AFG on a keymod rail..

Keymod AFG, lighter and IMHO better than Magpul:

Grip Stop all the way, I have 2, one on a 16" AR and one on my 7.5" pistol.  High quality, extremely comfortable and designed by a Marine.

Gripstop gets my vote.  I have one for all my rifles.  I even have an extra new one for sale in the EE.
