I just finished a new build and I am having an issue with it.  It will fire a round eject it and strip a new one from the magazine perfectly just like it should.  However it will not reset the trigger.  So a fresh round is in the chamber but it will not fire.  It also will fire the last round in the magazine and lock the bolt carrier back just like it should.  When i manually cycle the weapon and put a new one in and eject the other round it functions properly and resets the trigger.  I have never seen this before.  Does anyone have any ideas?

The build is:

Barrel: Radical firearms 1/7 socom profile mid length
anderson lower
spikes blem upper
anderson lower parts kit and buffer
Radical BCG
LWRC trigger out of my SPR that i put a timney in
midwest industries handgaurd

When to bcg cycles back from firing is the hammer riding it back forward on the bolt carrier or is it being held cocked?

Not familiar with your trigger but if it's standard, make sure your FCG springs are installed correctly. (Trigger spring, hammer spring, and disco spring)

Take it to rhine group and have thomas or jeremy look at it quick for you.  My guess is a spring is missing.

That is where I was going with the question.  Chances are it's something in your trigger group from what Im reading. Double check your trigger install and make sure all parts installed correctly. Possibly missing Disco spring?

Take a pic of the trigger in the lower

Check your springs.  Is the hammer spring backwards?

Did you install the disconnector spring?

Thanks everyone for the ideas and input.  I figured it out.  the dis-connector spring was actually bent and sticking out the side next to it.  So it wasnt grabbing the hammer when it came back.

When you install the new one, make sure the side with the large coils is down, small coils are up.
