| Does anyone have any experience with the the Anderson RF85 upper/BCG? |

It's a marketing scam. Don't think you can buy it and not use lube. This. Yep. In his "AR High Round Count" thread, Henderson indirectly hinted that an Anderson upper with RF-85 treatment failed miserably under fully automatic fire. I wouldn't buy one unless it was $150 for a complete upper without BCG. |
|
Scam. Do not buy RF85 parts. My non RF85 Anderson parts are fine however. But the RF85 coating is bullshit. Ask HendersonDefense if you don't believe me.
Anderson is ok for stripped receivers, BCG's, etc. Just do not buy anything RF85 coated. Your AR needs lubrication. |

Buy the RF-85 if it makes you happy. |

Lawyers ![]() Here is the link to the Henderson Thread. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/677135_High_round_count_AR_M4_s__over_100_000_rounds__and_how_they_have_handled_on_our_range.html I have never rock n rolled all day on full auto...so I am not sure this applies to low volume shooters. |

I shot about 1200rds through mine and it eats everything. I've never lubed or cleaned it. I shoot 55-75 grain from 25-600 yards never a malfunction and more accurate than me. I found this review video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXO07hVFhhk I am going to go for it. |

Henderson made no such reference to any specific company. Keep in mind that there have been several companies for years now claiming no lube is necessary. At least one of them recanted after high volume testing. Remember FailZero and WMD Guns? |

I like my anderson lowers it sucks to see them join in the snake oil sales techniques though. They didn't join the snake oil sales technique. They invented it. They invented shill guerrilla marketing with their posting on this board. Not one nickel ever for Anderson, and always look at and consider join dates and post counts for posters asking about their products. |

So I have a Windham Weaponry Model 15 that I love and I also built a 308 this winter using the AERO precision M5 upper/lower and a Rainier Select Mid Barrel. I guess I am shilling for all these companies? I said the Anderson was so far so good with 200 rounds through it...I didn't say it was the best rifle anyone could ever buy. |

Apparently you don't understand what shilling means. If you don't work for any of the firms mentioned then you aren't shilling. Anderson had employees posting to this board acting like pleased consumers. Extolling the virtues of their products. That is shilling. It's also outright lying. |

I was pointing out that fact that I have posted about other companies products. So before you accuse someone of being a shill, you might want to check out their other post and not just go off of when they joined and how many post they have. |

Honestly I have no problems with buying andersons lowers/uppers uber cheap.
But I'm extremely doubtful that their special formula allows their rifles to run lube/oil free. Believe there was a thread somewhere here on ar15.com about high round count ARs. He couldn't name any names, but hinted that anderson's snake oil failed. |
