So currently my primary carbine is nicely setup with surefire scout, Eotech xps, bcm verticle grip and KAC rear sight. However I just SBRed the gun and have a new 12" 300 upper. I can't afford light/optics for both now as I am saving now for my suppressor. So my question is now keep the current 5.56 setup as primary with all the goodies or switch all my stuff to the 300 upper and use it as my primary. Thoughts, overlooking ammo cost?

I would keep everything on the 5.56 upper until you get the can for your .300 BLK.

Agreed. Keep the 5.56 as is.
