Parts arrived today which allowed me to complete this rifle.

The Guntec billet upper worked really well with the SI-Defense lower receiver in color and what I'd call visual compatibility. The way SI-Defense milled this lower, a standard forged upper just looked out of place to my eyes, so I began looking for some cleaner looking billets.

I had considered using the Bootleg upper, but the way they milled it, the visual appearance looked 'backwards to me' so I kept the search up until I found the Guntec with F/A and port door from Primary Arms for $95.

I had also done a littler research regarding the H&K 416/MR556 charging handle, and figured out a milspec charging handle would accept the 416/MR556 latch. I installed it on a CH today and am glad I picked it up for this project. I would compare it to a Raptor's latch in terms of size and texture.

During the installation of the Fortis handguard, I discovered the way Guntec milled their receiver, the anti-rotation tabs on the REV2 would not allow it to be installed, so I removed them. It makes sense to me why Guntec chose to design their handguards like the Noveske NSR, with a flush mounted rail that goes over a barrel nut allowing 6 points of fastening. I'd like to see Guntec further eliminate some of the excess of their receiver, but all in all I think it was worth the $95 I paid for it. Also, the Magpul SL-K closes fully on a LMT buffer tube with the KAC non-rotational sling swivel mount PN 22051-1.

Just installed this nickel boron coated gas key on the Rainier stripped auto carrier. I will do the staking tomorrow. This is bound for one of my Anderson uppers on a Gen 1 Noveske lower.

A Daniel Defense 12" handguard will be installed over a midlength or intermediate gas barrel. I'm not sure whose barrel I will use right now.

A couple of the URX3 handguards I have still had their heat shields riveted to the bottom rail, while several others did not. I decided to drill out the rivets and pull the shields out. I still have a couple more left on some 13.5" ones to do.

Installed a different ambi selector and ambi magazine release on my LMT SBR. I will be installing one of the new Magpul magazine releases on my Noveske gen2 SBR when it arrives.

Finally took the plunge and put a magnified optic (Vortex PST 1-4) and a comp (Precision Armament AFAB) on my main carbine. I also have a set of BAD ambi selectors on order.

Installed the new Magpul enhanced magazine release in my Noveske 300 SBR.

I also figured I'd try out a slightly different panel setup on the NSR-7, so I used a handstop keymod panel and a couple of the KM/Mlok panels I picked up from Rainier.

Got all my parts together to make my old beater CMMG (14.7 pinned) into an early/mid 2000's M4 MWS clone. Applied Citristrip last night, cleaned it off this morning. Put all the parts on after that.

Picked up some ammo: 200 rounds of PMC X-TAC 62gn and 200 rounds of Gold Dot HP 64gn. And another day of frustration over the UBR 2.0 not being out.

On juniors' rifles, I recently tuned ejectors and installed an Ebay freefloat quadrail/sling swivel.

Removed the Aero Precision free float Handguard and installed a 13" ALG EMR V3. Feels much better in the hand. Also installed a pressure switch on the flashlight and put the flashlight on the non ejection side. Visibly seems improved.

With my pressure switch and zip tie, can I operate now?

Added a little optic ( Optima 2000 ) I had sitting in the box waiting for something to put it on. A YHM 1/2 inch riser got it to a perfect absolute cowitness height.
A Magpul D60 doubled the weight when loaded and slapped in. Gotta run it and see how it does.

Got a couple packages in today and went to work installing a Vltor buffer tube and QD endplate on one of my SR-15s and also installed a Daniel Defense QD end plate on my DDM4/SR-15E3 rifle.

Added a nitrided Toolcraft carrier with a Sharp NP3+ bolt to my all FDE 20" build(2 birds)...but not before upgrading both bolts with Sprinco ejectors and extractor sets.

Swapped out the standard endplate for a BCM QD Endplate on my 14.5" mid length. Only things left until it's fully complete is a sling, optic, and maybe BUIS since it may serve an HD role.

Daniel Defense S2W Barrel and NT-4 flash hider arrived today. Finished out this rifle mid-afternoon with a Vltor gas block and a Razor HD-LH 1.5-8 and BCM Ambidextrous A44 CH.

Swapped out the BCG on my space gun 18" rifle for the AIM NiB one that was discounted last week just because they were cheap. Easier cleaning, and now I have a BCG and CH waiting for a new build.

Also bought a bunch of $7 Hexmags.

I also changed out the scope base and glass to a PST 1-4 in MOA.

Swapped out the URX2 10.75 PN 20549 (23375) for one of my Rifle URX3s PN 30005. I got lucky with receiver alignment since the URX3 was timed to a different receiver when I bought it. The other problem I could've run into was front sight clearance to the KAC E3 gas system length. I got very lucky there and neither the gas block or rail needed any clearance created.

I also installed a G2S trigger which came in today from the EE.

This rifle was redone yesterday as I swapped the URX3 Rifle Handguard off it and installed the URX2 10.75" over the KAC SR-15 M4 barrel. It also has a KAC Aimpoint 30mm mount, 300m rear sight, 2 taupe VB 11-rib panels, and a KAC A2 taupe grip.

The SR-15 M4 barrel was purchased from Geno a while ago and cut to 14.5" and the YHM QD Brake pinned and welded.

Swapped out the Elzetta mount for an Arisaka and put on the Aimpoint PRO that came in the mail yesterday. After I get some decent rounds through it, it'll probably be my do-all, HD, SHTF carbine. Might buy a 1-6 LPV in a QD mount for it just to have on hand.

Swapped out a few stuff from my PWS MK114 to the BCM Rifle, went to the range this morning to sight in the EOTech EXPS3-0 and Zero the DBAL-i2 at 50yrd, will zero at 100yrd, just waiting for a nice hot day with no wind lol..
