I posted this in a different sub forum but received no replies so I thought I'd try here as well. I'm interested in the Switch 556 rail and I was curious if anyone could give me some feedback on the rail? I'm mostly interested in the profile of the rail and if it will hold zero (front sight) once the rail is removed and installed again. I like a slim rail and I was curious if this was slimmer than the REV. I have no experience with the REV but I've read it's like holding a 2x4.

Thanks
Rob

My buddy runs the Fortis Rev and hates it because it gets hot and his fingers get stuck in the large slots. I shot his rifle a couple times and concurred.  The Switch however looks to improve on these shortcomings, but I have no empirical data to provide.  Looks sweet though!

I have a couple of them on my personal weapons.  They feel nothing like the other Fortis rail. Yes, you can get it to zero, or come close to zero, but you would need witness marks to do it. Here is one of mine.
