Friend of mine's son got a lower from Founding Fathers Armory for Christmas and he asked me about it, I guess because knows I own an AR.

Anyway, the lower was cerakoted and has his last name engraved and year of birth incorporated into the serial number. I thought it looked awesome.

I checked their site and it looks like good stuff with some reasonably thoughtful design. Curious if anyone here has used one of their lowers and if so, what did you think of it?

Never heard of them. There lowers look pretty nice kinda want one.

That's what I was thinking...I'm usually trying to save a buck here and there but I'm thinking I need to have one of these for a "nicer" build.

Never been into billet but they do look sturdy. Not a fan of the bottom of the magwell tho.
