What is the typical gas opening in gas blocks?
I was given a 10 inch 300AAC Blackout barrel that has a carbine gas set up. Needless to say it doesn't cycle anything. I do manage to get ejection 95% of the time with loads that were starting to show flattened primers. The current gas opening on the barrel is .115. I am just curious how big I can open it up to see if I can get the thing to maybe cycle supersonics. Thanks yes I know the correct setup is pistol gas. I just don't have the $ right now to go and buy a new barrel. |
