Have a palmetto 18" upper that seems to be the source of a reset problem. I have four lowers, all function with the three remaining uppers Lowers (s&w, black rain, magpul, and palmetto) (uppers are BCM, two S&Wand the problem child Palmetto) I shoot the palmetto upper and every other mag it will lockup. Detach the lower, press hammer and play with the trigger and it unlocks. I have not switched bolt carriers yet, I am about to rid my self of the 18" palmetto, hate if there is a simple fix. Don't think it matters but the palmetto has a Wylde chamber.

Thanks for any assistance

Why haven't you tried swapping carriers?

Something seems really screwy. The symptoms do not make sense to me.

Reinstall the trigger spring.  The portion of the spring that initiates force is on the top of the trigger and should be under it,  between the trigger and the lower receiver.

^^^ Agreed. Check  the  FCG for proper installation.
