This is my first ever build.  I wanted it to be a sort of no nonsense rifle that I can beat on.  I also tried to keep it on a budget and right now I have about $1k in parts, not too bad if you ask me.  There are some things that I have noticed that I would like to change already, such as a new grip, red dot for obvious reasons, and possibly a new stock.  Also, when the funds allow I will be putting a geisselle sdc trigger in it.
Specs:
Dpms lower
BCM 16" middy upper
BCM BCG
Radical Firearms LPK
MBUS
MI gen II ss 15" handguard
BCM mod 0 comp
I apologize for the low quality pics, my canon is in south dakota ATM

Nice stick. Congrats. Can't go wrong with BCM.

What RDS are you thinking of going with?

I want to do a micro dot on a quick release riser setup, and I really like the price point of the primary arms advanced micro dot.  I still have 4 years of school left, so Im trying to keep the price on the lower side.

Nice looking rifle. Toss a red dot on it, and you're GTG.

I would like to put a TLR-1 on there as well, but I really cant unless I move the grip panels back, which gives me a really short grip on the rifle.

What did you think of the radical arms LPK?  I bought one and the fcg looks like it is 50 years old.

fit an finish is what I expected for the price, its really just temporary and it seems to fit the bill.

Put a little dirt & a EoTec it, it would look just like mine.

Good job

Yeah. I don't plan on using the fcg as I'm planning for a two stage. I was just curious.

The trigger is pretty decent too, better than the bushy's Ive shot with before.

Watch the EE. The B5 SOPMODs are the best value. The BRAVO is around $55 and the Enhanced can be found for $80 or less. I love my SOPMOD.

You can also tighten up a standard M4 stick by sticking 1.5" of the soft side of sticky Velcro into the receiver extension hole. Tightens it up quite nicely; I was going to spend money on a CTR until I found that trick....no need to now.

Try it at 12 o'clock in front of your front sight.

Nice pew stick OP. Since you're on a budget i'd definitely go with a primary arms red dot until funds allow for something better. As for the stock I equally love my SOPMOD enhanced and standard M4 waffle. SOPMOD for obvious reasons and M4 waffle, probably just because of how many rounds I have downrange piloting one. You will prob love the SOPMOD enhanced more tho.

Try it at 12 o'clock in front of your front sight.

That would shorten my sight radius, only by a little, but my main problem with that is I dont like how it looks, and it would get in the way of my thumb.

You could try putting an Inforce WML at the very end of your rail at 9 o'clock? I have 2 like that (one on an SBR) and I don't have to modify/shorten my grip. Just a thought!

Eta...it looks good too!! lol...Merry Christmas !

I just finished milling down my a2 and put it on, ran a few mags of some wolf and m855 and she ran like a pro.
