My mk 12 port size is .102" in 18"
Rifle Gas Tube full length
M16 carrier group
CS carbine spring in LMT Carbine Extension
SOPMOD LMT Stock
Using 77gr Sierra at 2700 to 2750 FPS

What buffer weight are you all using?
I think I will start with H colt buffer

Most guys with Rifle uppers, including Mk12's, seem to go for something like an H3. I run a rifle buffer/A1 stock as I prefer it, but previously I used a SOPMOD stock with a standard carbine buffer. I'd recommend at least an H2, H3 if available.

Use what you have.

As long as you aren't firing in FA, a standard carbine buffer will suit you well.

My SPR barrel is .104 and a H2 or A5H2 or 3 is what I use.

There is also the H6 which weighs in at 5.2 oz, matching the weight of the rifle buffer.

I run a LMT SOPMOD Buttstock Assembly w/ H2 buffer in my Mk12 Mod 0. I works very well.
