We'd have to have a camera down there to see hits as 100ft/lbs ain't too much haha.

Well yeah, I know we can stretch them to a grand down here but why? I doubt we could even hear it on steel at that range, lol. We'd be wasting good match pills!

That’s where something like the 6.5 Grendel is handy.  My 12.5 you can plainly hear at 850.  That’s as far as I can go.

Went back to this build being a mini Recce setup.  The 1.93” is actually nice, but I think I like 1.7” better.  I wish ADM make a 1.7” mount.

I wish they did too, I like ADM and Warne for my scope mounts. Maybe if enough people email them requesting them they will make it.

You've gotta tell me what color green that is. I love that. I've been rocking a silencerco hybrid as my only can for a few years. It isn't very mini recce friendly lol. I've got an aem5, turbo k, and el camino in jail now that I realized I needed more than 1.

I'm not the poster you asked, but I like the Viper quite a bit and wouldn't hesitate to use one for patrol. I've used plenty of LPVOs and the Viper is outstanding especially for the money.

Thanks guys! I see them here and there but most of this thread is 1k plus optics( I know, stop being poor) . Everyone seems to like the gen 2 viper though. Probably going to pick one up.

@StinkPotJoe
Aervoe light green spray paint. Think I originally saw it in this thread, can’t remember who’s rifle, it was KAC URX and OPS can in the same green. Also similar to the Noveske Bazooka green so I’m happy.

Current mini setup looking for hogs.

They would have no problem selling them. It would have to be horizontal ring split for me to buy though, not vertical.

@DontBuryMe how do you like it on 1x? I've been looking at this one to put on a 14.5 recce so I can move my Razor to a 10.3

The 1-6 Vudu was pretty good but the (lack of) brightness was a killer

Every bit as usable as my Razor at 1x IMO.

The dot does not get as bright as the Razor or Viper, but it is plenty bright in midday AZ sun to draw my eye to it immediately. No issues with it washing out like I had with the NXS and seen with some others like Trijicon Accupowers and the FFP 1-6x Vudus.

ETA: @135Patriots My phone doesnt pick up the LEDs on either scope very well, but heres a comparison between the Razor and the Vudu on their highest setting in similar full sunlight (not the exact same time of day, sorry. I don't have the Razor here with me right now so I had to use an older pic.). Same phone camera used for both. Both of these appear bright to my naked eye (the Razor is brighter).
