Might wanna check the barrel fit on the upper. I wanted to build my SBR off a BRO upper/lower and found the barrel had a sloppy fit in the upper. Swapped it with a Victor MUR and was like a bank vault. Tried a Bushy and a Noveske barrel with the same results. Lower is great but that upper passes me off.

I haven't came across any reviews or reports in regards to barrel fitment issues. You probably had a bad upper. Hopefully it's not going to be an issue with mine!

I bought a complete BRO lower from CDNN. Any idea where I could get a stripper BRO upper cheap?

Nice pictures! Yes, I'm glad I don't live in New York anymore. I lived there for 6 years, in Rochester, where I went to RIT. I plan on building a Black Rain .308 after this current build.

Where in NY are you?

Factory 308 but it's the only BR that I've owned. Great shooter.

It wasn't bad. I actually got rid of it because I came across a great deal on a LMT 308 and a POF 308 and couldn't justify that many 308s. It had to be sent in once but their customer service is top notch.

It's norguard. Some type of nickel finish of theirs.
