I'm looking at two rifles, a Bushmaster MOE Dissipator or a Ruger SR-556E. What I would REALLY like is a Colt LE6920 SOCOM but I just don't have the money.
Anyway one obvious difference between these two is that the Bushmaster is direct impingement and the Ruger is a piston gun. Anything else to consider here? Also has Ruger eliminated carrier tilt and if so how? |

Save up for the rifle you want. It will be worth it in the end. I was going to settle for something less, but I waited a couple more weeks until i had enough for a 6920. Not saying they are the best, but it is what I wanted. And i am so glad I waited. I second this. No matter what, if you want the LE6920 and you buy something else, you WILL regret it. Keep what money you have, and save up the rest for the Colt. |

Too many good rifles these days....and I own a 6920 |
